Marcy Overby has served as the Police Department Receptionist since 2008.

Receptionist duties include: Provides front counter assistance and responds to requests for police reports, traffic accidents, police records along with assisting the Crime Free Housing Coordinator. The receptionist assists with the daily filing system and route traffic reports, criminal reports and police department records to the appropriate agencies.

Copies of certain records are obtainable between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. To make your wait as short as possible and to make sure we have the record you want, we ask that you first call before coming to pick up the record in question.   Phone number: 701-433-5500

Marcy has been responsible for releasing Police Records since January 2010

Police Records can be released to the public under certain conditions.  If you would like to obtain a copy of a report, or do a individual record check, call the West Fargo Police Department Records Department at 701-433-5500.  More information on how to request police records.
 

Duties include: Determines what information can be released. Disseminates uniform crime reports, motor vehicle accident reports, and record information to insurance companies and to the public upon request.
